Sixteenth Notes Explained
An introduction to sixteenth notes. Designed for complete beginners. Built to encourage audiation, and to help the student learn count rhythms out loud while working through them.
How to practice this
Read the explanations carefully, then practice the examples with a metronome set to 60bpm. Once the exercises are comfortable, and you can repeat them each at least four times, you can work your way up 5-10bpm at a time to challenge yourself. You can also challenge yourself to use an alternating sticking on the sixteenth note passages.
